Bio
Studying MFA in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Film/Video/New Media Dept.. She was a documentary filmmaker in Taiwan. As a filmmaker, She always focuses on social issues and personal memories. As an artist, she is interested how the lights function in real world. She believes that her work should be about the society/ reality/ something could deeply connect works with audiences. And the art works are the way the artists see the world and capture the moment of life. Her previous documentary ” Life With Happniness” has been selected in several Asian film festivals and won several awards from these film festivals, Best Shorts, Asain Documentary festival;, Grand Award, Hong Kong Independent Film/ Video Competition; Best Documentary, Golden Horse film festival, Internaitonal digital shorts competition..etc. “Depending on the Sea” will be shown as long-term selection in Yilan Museum. “Nowhere Island” is her recent work and also her first narrative Short as well.
